Health and HappinessDiet really does make a difference when it comes to mood. Researchers at the University of Newcastle in Australia reviewed six databases comparing depression rates to dietary intakes. A total of 21 studies were identified and findings were pooled. Results showed that diets rich in colorful fruits and vegetables, fatty fish, and whole grains were associated with a 16% lower risk for depression.
